Hostels
Separate hostels for boys and girls inside the hospital campus, with a mess, study room, gym and round-the-clock security.
The nursing students' hostel sits within the hospital campus and has what students need for both study and leisure, with a large recreation hall and a modern mess with a spacious dining hall.
The hostels offer a clean, hygienic and welcoming place to live, with facilities for living, dining and recreation that help every resident feel at home.

Facilities
Drinking water
Water round the clock in all buildings, with Aquaguard-treated drinking water and water coolers.
Power backup
A generator keeps electricity and the water supply running during power cuts.
Laundry
Smart washing with complete fabric care, at a reasonable charge.
Hot water
Hot water supplied from gas geysers.
Canteens
In-house canteens serving a variety of food, good for informal get-togethers.
Recreation hall
A large hall for leisure time, alongside the study room.
Food services
A balanced, nutritious diet is served in a hygienic environment in all hostels, with steam-cooking facilities. Residents can choose their mess according to their taste.
Security
The security office at the hospital's main gate is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and each hostel is staffed round the clock. Residents are responsible for keeping their entrance secure.
Rules and regulations
Students must follow the rules of the college and the hostel. Breaking them will lead to disciplinary action.
7Behaviour and discipline
- Residents are expected to behave acceptably and maintain discipline and decorum in the hostel complex.
- Smoking is not allowed in the hostel complex at any time.
- Possession, distribution or consumption of alcohol, prohibited drugs or chewable tobacco in the hostel complex is not allowed.
- Parties and social or political gatherings in the hostel complex are not permitted without prior written consent from the accommodation officer.
- The hostel should give every student the best possible conditions for study and rest. Keep noise low so others can study or sleep in comfort.
- Television, radio and similar equipment in the common room must be switched off or turned down after 10:00 pm.
- If a room-mate behaves unacceptably, the other room-mate must report it to the authorities.
8Upkeep of the hostel
- Residents are responsible for keeping their rooms and the common areas clean and tidy at all times.
- Residents must maintain personal and environmental hygiene.
- Switch off all fans and lights when you leave your room or a common area.
- Cooking is not allowed in hostel rooms.
- Hostel management may carry out spot checks without prior notice.
- Maintenance staff may enter rooms when needed for their duty, under the direction of hostel management. Every effort will be made to respect residents' privacy and dignity.
- Attendance is taken every evening, and action will be taken on absentees.
- Residents must sign the outgoing register with times when leaving and returning to the hostel.
9Hostel rules
- All students are under the direct care and supervision of the hostel warden.
- Students may go out twice a month for shopping and once a month with their parents or relatives, and must be back in the hostel by 6:30 pm.
- Visitors are allowed only on second Sundays.
- No student is permitted to stay outside with relatives or friends.
- A student who is ill should inform the Sister-in-charge, see the doctor and produce a medical certificate.
- Relatives and friends may not visit students during duty hours. Arriving from a distant place does not entitle a relative to see a student during duty hours, nor will a student on night duty be woken.
- Permission to visit relatives or friends, or to attend parties, weddings, cinemas and similar, must be obtained from the parents and the Principal.
- Ragging in any form is banned and is treated as a cognizable offence. Any student found guilty of ragging will be suspended or dismissed at the discretion of the management.
- Taking or giving any harmful drug not authorised by a competent authority is strictly forbidden. Any student found in possession of such drugs will be dismissed.
5Security
- Carry your identity card at all times within the hostel complex and show it when asked by hostel authorities.
- Keep all doors locked at all times.
- Hostel management is not responsible for loss of private property. Keep valuables such as laptops, watches and money locked at all times.
- If your room-mate has been missing for more than 12 hours without prior information, report to the warden immediately so the authorities can act quickly.
- Pets are not allowed in the hostels.
3Revision of rules and regulations
- Hostel management may revise the rules from time to time and will inform residents through notices on the hostel notice boards.
- Not knowing a rule will not be accepted as an excuse.
- These rules are meant to keep a conducive environment for all residents.
