About the college
A nursing college of the Chirayu Charitable Foundation, Bhopal, teaching alongside its own medical college and hospital since 2012.
Chirayu College of Nursing offers four nursing programmes: General Nursing and Midwifery, Basic B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing, run by the Chirayu Charitable Foundation.
The college has a three-storey independent building with its own infrastructure. Classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with modern teaching aids and set up to support every teaching method, from lectures to demonstrations and group work.
The foundation started Chirayu Medical College and Hospital in 2010, along with a Super Speciality Hospital under the same society. Nursing students treat it as their parent hospital and do their clinical training there.

Community Health Officers trained here in the six-month course run with IGNOU, where the college is a study centre.
How the college grew

2001
Chirayu Charitable Foundation founded
Set up with a vision of commitment to service, the society went on to build a medical college and hospital.

2010
Medical college and hospitals open
Chirayu Medical College and Hospital and the Super Speciality Hospital start under the same society. These become the parent hospital for nursing students.

2012
B.Sc Nursing and GNM begin
The college starts with two programmes after receiving the essentiality certificate from the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

2016
Post Basic B.Sc and M.Sc Nursing added
Two more programmes join, taking the college to four nursing courses from diploma to postgraduate level.

His untiring efforts, benevolence, social conscience, generosity and compassion led to the expansion of Chirayu College of Nursing, with B.Sc Nursing and GNM starting in 2012.

All programmes are recognised and inspected every year by the competent authorities. No deficiencies were identified in the annual inspections.
